My yearly Mother’s Day tradition has always consisted of a sweet Nutella crêpe and a delicious fruity cocktail. I look forward to this treat all year long and don’t ask for much more. Last year I was met with grave disappointment when I learned that my favorite go-to restaurant suddenly took their crêpes off the menu. Holding back the tears, I scoured the internet in hopes of finding a suitable backup brunch spot, and that is when I discovered my new favorite hidden gem.
Delphine’s Kitchen is a delicious new addition to the Beverly, Massachusetts restaurant scene. The crêperie/pâtisserie has received rave reviews since opening in 2022.
The restaurant offers decadent French cuisine made from fresh, local ingredients.
Delphine's is known for its mouthwatering sweet and savory crêpes. Flavors include chicken florentine, s'more, and strawberry parfait. You can also have one made-to-order.
Once a month, Delphine's hosts a very popular monthly "Chef's Table" prix-fixe dinner. Imagine five courses of delicious French cuisine paired with a fine wine, beer, or cider! Past entree items have included chorizo-infused scallops, lobster thermidor, and wild mushroom risotto. Yum!
Restaurant customers can purchase an album at the nearby Sound Tracks record store and receive a discount at both establishments. Delphine's will even play the record while you enjoy your meal!
As for me, I am never turning back. One bite of my Nutella crêpe and I was hooked.

I have returned to Delphine's Kitchen many times since that delicious morning and will be back again on Mother’s Day. But next year, I will be sporting this cool crêpe t-shirt instead of my old blue tie-dye!
