The River Views From The Rapids Bar And Grill In Massachusetts Are As Spectacular As The Food

Going out for a meal is a treat and those of us lucky enough to be in Massachusetts have oh-so many options just out our front door. While larger towns and cities offer bustling, highly-rated spots we might actually prefer some of the smaller-town establishments. These places are often family-owned and with so much space many are nestled in beautiful settings. This one, just beside a river, is one of our favorites!

Driving down Worthington Road in Huntington you could drive right past The Rapids Bar & Grill. The one-story yellow building doesn't let drivers know that it has a wonderful secret in the back!

This secret is the beautiful Westfield River, which runs right behind the restaurant!

And, even better than having a prime riverside location, Rapids offers seating *overlooking* the river.

Depending on the time of year, you'll either enjoy a peacefully babbling brook or rushing water resulting from snow melt or recent rain. Either scenario includes incredible views!

Rapids has been offering casual and delicious food to folks in the hilltowns since 2013 which means they've perfected the ideal menu to go along with the relaxed vibes that can only come from enjoying the great outdoors.

In addition to things like quesadillas and pizzas, they also offer heartier meals.

But if you're a meat lover who prefers things laid back, tuck into the perfect burger.

While they specialize in American food, they also have some more unique options like this Asian beef and broccoli dish.

Their bar is always stocked and includes a variety of local micro brews on tap.

On the weekends you'll find live music on the deck, but no matter when you visit you'll *always* find great food and beautiful views!

The Rapids Bar and Grill is typically open Tuesday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. They’re closed on Monday.
