I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Open since 1912, the Red Apple Barn has been run by four generations of the Rose Family in the Worcester County town of Phillipston. Growing over 50 varieties of apples and other fruit, this farm is an ideal place to come for pick-your-own. Aside from the orchards on the farm’s property, you’ll also find a farmhouse from the 1700s, a country store, and a taproom called The Brew Barn where you can order craft beer, hard cider, and mouthwatering BBQ.
Have you ever had brews and bbq from The Brew Barn at Red Apple Farm? If not, you should plan a day to go apple picking and stay for food and drinks at the taproom. It’s the perfect place for a day trip! For more information on The Brew Barn, visit the website and Facebook page. You can also learn more about Red Apple Farm and find its pick-your-own fruit schedule on the website.
