Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience when you walk through the front door at Flying Saucer Pizza in Salem, a space-themed pizza joint that's fun for the whole family.
If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Charlie the Space Pug. Yep, he's the pizza joint's mascot and an adorable pup from outer space. (Or is he?)
Dining next to a pint-sized Jabba the Hut from Star Wars. You're probably already in a good mood just from the vibrant atmosphere, right? Wait til you see the menu.
Chances are, your mouth will start watering from just looking at the menu that's brimming with such favorites as Mars Attacks with cheese, sausage, burrata, and red sauce.
Every item on the menu, if you haven't guessed, has a space themed-name. You might also want to try the Solaris (classic cheese), the Nick Fury (including mac and cheese), and the Pickle Rick (with bacon and dill pickles).
Before heading to Flying Saucer Pizza, make sure you call to make a reservation for indoor or patio seating. (Reservations are required now due to the ongoing pandemic.) Takeout and delivery from GrubHub and UberEats are also available.
Dig into a delicious pizza pie at Flying Saucer Pizza, open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
