I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
It may be early yet, but tickets are already on sale for the magical journey aboard The Polar Express Train Ride hosted by the Cape Cod Central Railroad in Massachusetts. This holiday season favorite is one that will create memories that will last a lifetime. So, hop aboard the Polar Express and take a magical journey to the North Pole!

Rides aboard The Polar Express are 1-1.5 hours long, leaving from Buzzards Bay to "The North Pole" and back. Once on board, refreshments of hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies are available to all.
There will also be some entertainment as the train treks along the tracks. The chefs and waiters will dance, Christmas carols will be sung, and everyone can enjoy a reading of Chris Van Allsburg's classic holiday book, "The Polar Express." Soundtrack music from the movie will also be played.
Excitement fills the air even more once the train reaches "The North Pole." Children will be delighted and parents will enjoy watching the looks on their faces.
Once the train stops, Santa and his elves will climb aboard the train and hand out gifts! Children will also be given the opportunity to tell Santa what they want for Christmas.
