I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Are you in the mood for an adventure? If you enjoy being out on the water (and who doesn’t?) consider taking the Quinebaug River Canoe Trail for a paddle adventure in Massachusetts. Just take a canoe or kayak and explore nature on this river trail.
The Quinebaug River Water Trail is a 5.5-mile National Recreation Trail that starts at Holland Pond (aka Lake Siog) and ends at the East Brimfield Lake boat ramp.
Launch your kayak or canoe and take in all the sights and sounds of nature along the water. This section of the river is part of the National Watchable Wildlife Program due to its preservation of wildlife habitats.
Have you had a paddle adventure in Massachusetts along the Quinebaug River Water Trail? Where is your favorite place for kayaking or canoeing in the state? Let us know in the comments, For more information on the Quinebaug Water Trail, visit The Last Green Valley website.
