Davoll’s General Store is the oldest general store in Massachusetts, and one of the oldest in the country. It’s been catering to the Dartmouth community since 1793. That’s over 200 years of history packed into one unassuming yet charming wood-frame house in Russell’s Mills Village.

Davoll’s has recently come under new ownership, and is currently undergoing renovations to bring the aging building back to its former luster. Renovations will likely be fully completed early this coming year. Until then, the store is open, and welcomes curious newcomers and oldtimers alike.
