I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Dunkin’ Donuts is as much a part of the Bay State’s cultural landscape as the Boston Red Sox, the beaches of Cape Cod, and the Berkshires. It was here that the chain’s first shop opened in 1950. And guess what? It’s still here. With nearly 75 years of history, the oldest Dunkin’ Donuts in Massachusetts is located in Quincy and is a must-visit location for all you Dunkin’ fans out there.
Step back in time. The year was 1950 when William Rosenberg opened up the very first Dunkin' Donuts at 543 Southern Artery in Quincy, Massachusetts. For nearly 75 years, this location has stood the test of time and is still in operation today.
While this location once looked like all the others with the iconic pink and orange hues, it was given a makeover and remodeled to pay homage to its history.
Order your iced coffee (Extra Extra, of course) and a chocolate glazed or strawberry frosted donut, or perhaps a box of Munchkins from the original Dunkies in Quincy. Of all the Dunkin' Donuts out there, this one in Quincy is the GOAT.
