There is so much to love about hiking the mountains in Massachusetts, but my favorite part is always the rewarding view from the summit. There is absolutely nothing like it! We have already told you about the gorgeous panoramic views on hikes such as the Skyline Trail in Milton, Mount Watatic near Ashburnham, and Gooseberry Island near Buzzards Bay… but did you know that there is also a mountain in the Pioneer Valley where you can see views of several New England States? Peaked Mountain near Monson, MA is truly one of the great natural wonders in Massachusetts.

Peaked (pronounced “pea-kid”) is a beautiful hike in the Pioneer Valley near the town of Monson, Massachusetts.

The trail is a two-mile, moderately challenging hike that takes approximately two hours to complete.
This land was once a working forest which created fuel for iron smelters.
