The Bay State is home to more amazing restaurants than we could think of dining at, and for that, we are very fortunate. Giacomo’s Ristorante in the North End of Boston is no exception. This iconic restaurant in Massachusetts is such a fixture in the state that it’s not uncommon to see a line out the door on any given day.
If you've ever been to Hanover Street in Boston's North End, chances are that you've walked past Giacomo's Ristorante. Perhaps you've stopped for a bite to eat or maybe you were on your way to nearby Mike's Pastry for a cannoli. Either way, Giacomo's is certainly worth dining at.
Well, aside from being one of the most iconic Italian restaurant in the city, it has a tiny dining room. However, tourists and locals alike flock to Giacomo's for its authentic Italian cuisine, hence the line out the door.
When you come to this iconic Italian eatery and are finally seated at a table, perhaps you'll order an appetizer to start. Between the fried calamari, mussels, burrata, or antipasto, you can't go wrong.
For you pasta lovers out there, you'll be in heaven. You can enjoy linguine with a variety of shellfish or lobster ravioli, butternut squash ravioli, fettuccini, or ziti.
