Is your sweet tooth ready for something new? This little bakery in Cambridge has just opened up and they’re already wowing customers. La Saison is an artisan spot that makes some of the softest, richest brownies ever. Plus, their sourdough loaves look like works of art. Check it out below.
La Saison is Massachusetts’ newest artisan bakery, and they’ve made a great first impression.
This homey spot churns out some of the most delicious, fudgy brownies you’ll ever taste and some truly impeccable sourdough.
Head baker and co-owner Soheil Fathi was the former pastry chef at Flour Bakery in Cambridge, a bakery with a cult following.
So what can you find at La Saison? Delectable marble brownies, soft chocolate chip cookies, and pastries inspired by Fathi’s Iranian heritage.
The sourdough is a particularly big hit. All they use to make it is water, salt, and flour. There are no additives and the perfectly crisp crust hides a fragrant, soft center.
These brownies though. They’re incredibly moist and almost gooey with rich chocolate. If you prefer a round form factor, pick up one of their fudge cookies as well.
Everything is made in small batches on the day of sale and items tend to sell out quickly, so stopping by early is a good idea.
The bakery will soon be making its own chocolates made with nothing but cream, cocoa, and butter. Pizza and wine nights are also in the works.
Check out the La Saison Bakery website for current offerings, store opening hours, and news from the bakery.
