Fall is arguably the best time of year in the Bay State, but it can be hard to decide where to go spend time in nature. The Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary in Topsfield features more than 12 miles of hiking trails through one of the most beautiful nature spots in Massachusetts. You can trek through forests, marshes, meadows, and wetlands at this beautiful sanctuary, and if you get tired of being on the ground, you can paddle upon the namesake river as well. Ipswich River truly comes to life in the fall, and the best way to experience it is by taking one of the many trails alongside the river at Mass Audubon’s Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary.
Have you ever hiked through Ipswich River Sanctuary? Was it peaceful and beautiful?
