I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
If you grew up anywhere in New England, chances are that you had at least one candle from Yankee Candle in your home. Yankee Candle stores have been open in malls and shopping centers across the country for several decades now. And while they can be fun places to do some shopping, nothing beats a trip to Yankee Candle Village, the world’s largest candle store found in small-town Massachusetts.
If you've never been to Yankee Candle Village you're missing out. Covering an expanse of 90,000 square feet, this is the world's largest candle store. And it's found in the small town of South Deerfield!
You'll want to set aside enough time (perhaps an entire day) to explore this massive store. And bring the entire family as there's something here for everyone.
With all the different scents, you'll probably spend some time sniffing candles to see which ones you'd like to buy for home. You can also create your own jar candle with a custom scent as well here.
Walk around the Yankee Candle Village "Christmas Year 'Round" section and shop for ornaments and collectibles. Or just come here when you need a bit of Christmas cheer.
Not only can you find hundreds of thousands of candles here, but there is also a brewery and pizza cafe onsite as well. And believe us, you'll work up an appetite exploring the entirety of Yankee Candle Village!
Have you ever visited the world’s largest candle store hiding right here in a small town in Massachusetts? Let us know in the comments. For more information, visit the Yankee Candle Village website and follow its Facebook page as well.
