Many people know that Massachusetts is the birthplace of many historic figures, and the setting of quite a few historic events in our nation. However, not everyone remembers that these seven iconic products are also straight out of the Bay State. From the coffee you wake up to every morning, to the star of your game nights, these seven products come from Massachusetts and essentially define us. Throw these seven products on a mood board, and you’ll be feeling like a Bay Stater even if you aren’t from Massachusetts.
Everyone loves starting their day with a donut and a cup of joe from Dunkin', whether you're from Massachusetts or not. The original Dunkin' Donuts was founded in 1950 and their first location was in Quincy, Massachusetts. You can still visit this iconic location, too!
A lesser-known Massachusetts product is the game Monopoly. Parker Brothers is a Salem, Massachusetts company and they created this game there in the 1880s. No game night is complete without Monopoly!
Another "Boston" icon is the Boston cream pie. While this "pie" is much more of a cake, it's still our favorite pie. Did you know that this pie allegedly came from Parker's Restaurant in Boston? Read more here.
No Massachusetts products list would be complete without a Yankee Candle mention. Are you even from Massachusetts if you don't have a Yankee Candle hanging around?
What’s your favorite Massachusetts product? What else would you add to this list? We’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions in the comments!
