Did you know there is a family-friendly history museum in the little town of Wenham, Massachusetts? Simply called the Wenham Museum, it is better known by local children as “the train museum.” This hidden gem is filled with dozens of hands-on exhibits that teach what life was like in past centuries.
While the museum is definitely a fun place for toddlers and preschoolers, it contains several historical exhibits that older children and adults will also enjoy. I have been taking my kids here since they were little and they still like to visit!
Whether you come to learn about history or just to drive the trains, you and your family will definitely love visiting the Wenham Museum. More information about the Wenham Museum can be found on the Wenham Museum website or the Wenham Museum Facebook page. Have you visited this hidden gem with your family?
