It’s that time of year again, and there’s no better way to celebrate the arrival of snowy days and holiday cheer than with a festive light show!
Heritage Museums & Gardens has been hosting one of Massachusetts’ prettiest light events for years, and they’re continuing the tradition in 2020. Here’s what you need to know about Gardens Aglow.
For most of the year, Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich is known for its gorgeous flowers and pretty walking paths.
The annual Gardens Aglow event sees the gardens decked from trunk to twig with magical glowing lights. Guests are invited to wander through the light displays, sip hot cocoa, and generally revel in holiday goodness.
Besides looking at the beautiful lights, visitors will be able to roast marshmallows at fire pits, eat festive treats, visit Santa Claus, participate in a reindeer scavenger hunt, and shop for fun gifts at the garden gift store.
This year, the Gardens Aglow event will be held on select nights between November 27 and December 27. Most of these dates are Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Tickets are timed. Adult tickets cost $18 and youth tickets are $9. There are discounts available for garden members, and kids under two can attend for free.
You can find out more about Gardens Aglow at Heritage Museums & Gardens by visiting the official event page. Remember that tickets may sell out quickly, so be sure to book your date in advance if possible!
