I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Frozen wine slushies have gained in popularity over the years as an alternative to a regular glass of wine. A refreshing summer treat, wine slushies come in a variety of flavors just like the slushies you remember from your childhood. In central Massachusetts, Hardwick’s Vineyard & Winery not only offers award-winning wine, but flavorful wine slushies that people can’t help but try.
Located by the Quabbin Reservoir in Central Massachusetts, Hardwick's Vineyard & Winery occupies a restored 1795 mansion, a barn, and 150 acres of land. It's a beautiful place to take a tour or simply relax with a glass of wine.
Hardwick's Vineyard & Winery is owned and operated by the Samek Family. On the property, six hybrid varieties of French grapes are grown. The vineyard produces approximately 3,500 gallons of wine each year with some creative flavors you'll want to try!
With over a dozen wines made on-site, it may be hard to choose which one to try. While their Massetts Cranberry is the most popular (and award-winning), they have a variety of reds, whites, a blush, a pear wine, and a selection of specialty wines like Chocolate Raspberry and Harvest Maple.
If you have trouble making a decision on which wine to try, indulge in a Flight Board and fill it with any combination of wine, sangria, and wine slushies!
While visiting Hardwick's on a hot day, there's nothing better than a wine slushie. If watermelon white wine slushies are available during your visit, you should try one as they are not only popular, but quite delicious and refreshing!
The wine slushie menu changes from week to week, but among the flavors you may be able to try are Quabbin Native Rosé, Yankee Girl Blush, Harvest Maple, and Baystate Blueberry. Check the Facebook page for updates on available flavors.
Hardwick's Vineyard & Winery is the perfect place for a date or a gathering of family and friends. There's nothing better than spending an afternoon relaxing at a beautiful location with plenty of wine and wine slushies to try!
