Have you ever eaten at an airport restaurant and thought “I can’t wait to come back and dine here again?” This has definitely not been my experience. Throughout my years of traveling, I’ve visited tons of airports and usually try to avoid eating at on-site restaurants at all costs! They are typically overpriced and feature run-of-the-mill cuisine that just serves to tide you over until you arrive at your final destination. That is, until now. A brand-new eatery just opened up at a small regional airport, and it just might be Massachusetts’ latest hidden gem.
Fourth & Field is Massachusetts' newest farm-to-table restaurant. This fabulous casual dining establishment is located in the quaint town of Stow right at the Minute Man Air Field!

The restaurant has only been open for a month, but it is already becoming a popular spot for locals and visitors.
When you dine out at Fourth & Field, you are in for a unique experience. Not only will you be surrounded by hundreds of acres of gorgeous farmland, but you can also sit and watch the planes take off while you enjoy your meal.
Fourth & Field is a friend and family-owned establishment that is very near and dear to the owner's hearts. Partner and Operating Manager, Melissa Simon is also a mother of three small children. She considers the restaurant her “fourth” baby and decided to reflect this dedication in its name.
The restaurant specializes in delicious farm-to-table comfort food. The chefs use locally sourced eggs, seafood, produce, and other products in their dishes and craft cocktails. Many of these ingredients come from nearby farms.

The lunch and dinner menus feature delicious dishes such as sweet potato gnocchi, bison burgers, shrimp fettuccine, and rosemary statler chicken.
The restaurant also has a special Sunday brunch menu. Chicken and waffles and the French toast flight sound like wonderful options to me!

The atmosphere at Fourth & Field is cozy and inviting. Sit back and watch the planes from your seat by the window or see the action up close on the restaurant’s television live feed.

When the weather is nice, you can also enjoy food and drinks while taking in the views from the outside patio.
