As the name suggest, this simple, half-mile hike in Foxborough is home to a gorgeous nature trail featuring one of our state's only active cranberry bogs. Along the way, you'll find educational signs to learn about the bogs.

When you think of Foxborough, your mind might go to "Patriots" as this town is home to Patriot Place. However, hiding behind the pro shop is a breathtaking 16-acre nature preserve.

Before you embark on your hike, there's a bench for sitting that has "Ocean Spray" etched into it. That's because the land's cranberry bog is now sponsored by the famous brand.

There are 7-acres of active bogs throughout the land that were planted in 1929, and have been providing cranberries ever since. The boardwalks that go above them make for an incredible view.

If you're lucky, you'll even get to see cranberries being harvested from the bog if you visit during harvesting season. Thousands of cranberries fill up the bogs before they're fished out and processed.

No matter what time of year you visit, though, this simple trail is home to boardwalks, views, and relaxing Massachusetts nature all year long.
