Sometimes you just need to indulge yourself and start the day off with something sweet to eat. How does a giant cinnamon roll sound? If you find yourself in Western Massachusetts (or are willing to drive a bit to satisfy your craving), you should definitely head to The Apple Place farm in East Longmeadow and treat yourself to a mouthwatering treat. The farm has an on-site bakery that churns out a variety of homemade goodies each day.
The cinnamon rolls at The Apple Place are just dripping with goodness. The sweet icing on top perfectly compliments the flaky cinnamon bun.
The rolls are gigantic, so you can easily share one with a friend. However, they are so good that you might just want to finish one all by yourself.
The Apple Place fruit farm has been in business since 1971, but the historic property dates back hundreds of years. Not only is there a delicious bakery, but the farm also has an orchard, creamery, and market.
Pies, muffins, scones, cookies, and cider donuts are just a few of the treats that you might want to try. The bakery also has coffee, iced coffee, and lemonade. There are vegan and gluten-free options available.
While you are at the farm, make sure to pick up some fruits and veggies. The Apple Place has hundreds of fruit trees that produce 50 varieties of apples, pears, and peaches.
These are great events that the whole family can enjoy.
The Apple Place is open from April to November. For more information, including hours and special event listings, visit The Apple Place website or The Apple Place Facebook page. Have you taken a visit to The Apple Place bakery or do you know of a special spot that bakes great cinnamon rolls?
Need to walk off some calories after your yummy breakfast? Check out this gorgeous hike at the Bear Hole Reservoir Trail in nearby West Springfield, Massachusetts.
