The Vintage Christmas Village In Massachusetts That's A Whimsical Piece Of The Past
Winter in Massachusetts is a magical time, and there’s no better way to celebrate the spirit of the season than with a visit to this classic Bay State Christmas attraction. Here’s what you need to know about visiting the Enchanted Village at Jordan’s Furniture.

The Enchanted Village was a Massachusetts holiday staple in decades past, but it has now been revived and revitalized for a new generation. This whimsical holiday display was first opened in the 1960s and quickly became an integral part of the New England festive season. Families loved its detailed Victorian scenes and beautiful decor.

However, when the Enchanted Village closed in 1972 due to lack of funding, the future of this display looked bleak. Despite several reopenings over the years, it seemed as if the village would fade into memory before Jordan’s Furniture purchased the attraction and put it on permanent display at their Avon store.

Now, families can once again wander the streets of a charmingly retro winter village complete with lovely vintage holiday scenes, animatronic displays, and glittering lights. It’s the perfect activity for kids of all ages and also makes for a perfect winery date. You can even buy Jordan Marsh-style blueberry muffins!
