The land of Oz might be a fictional place, but there are plenty of nature spots in Massachusetts that will have you feeling like you’ve entered an enchanting fairytale. The Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail in Wellfleet is no exception. This swampy boardwalk hike is beautiful and spooky at the same time and will give you the feeling that you’ve entered the haunted forest in Oz. While there are probably not any flying monkeys around here, you’ll find mossy trees, mushrooms, and creepy views along this cedar plank loop trail. If you want to feel like you’ve been transported to the haunted forest in the land of Oz, take on the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail on the Cape.
Have you ever taken the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail? Did it feel like you were in the haunted forest?
