We all know that Jordan’s Furniture near Avon is a winter wonderland with ice skating, a light show, and the adorable Enchanted Village, but that isn’t the only branch of the store that’s worth a visit. Next time you’re in the market for a new couch and an adrenaline fix, head out to the Jordan’s in Reading!
You could just tour an average furniture showroom…
…Or you could check out dining room sets, sail down a 69-foot long zip line, and take an adventure ropes course!
Beanstalk Adventure Ropes Course offers two different difficulty levels: navigate the course from 12 feet or 24 feet up in the air.
Balance your way across zig-zag beams and traverse rope ladders, comfortable in the knowledge that you're secured with a harness in case you're not quite as athletic as you think!
Shopping with the family in tow? Kids aged two to seven can enjoy their own mini adventure on the Beansprout ropes course.
Tickets for the Beanstalk ropes course cost $14, and admission to the Beansprout course is $7.
Once you've worked up an appetite, refuel at Big Dig Ice Cream, which features ice cream from Richardson's, a farm based in Middletown that was established back in 1636.
Richardson's offers all the classic flavors you'd expect, including Green Monster, as well as retro options like frozen pudding. The selection of fro-yo is extensive and pleasingly rich.
That's not the only sweet treat waiting for you at this furniture store. Forget Legos. Jelly beans are the construction material of choice here.
As you explore Beantown, you'll see this candy in a whole new light.
A whopping 25 million jelly beans were used to replicate Boston landmarks. An edible version of the Green Monster, anyone?
Furniture is only the beginning of what this one-of-a-kind store has to offer. You'll find this Jordan's location at 50 Walkers Brook Drive in Reading.
