Boston has a reputation for history, colleges, and for spawning die-hard sports fans. As Bostonians, we do have certain charming quirks, however, we’re just as defined by the things that we refuse to do as we are by our actions. It’s hard to catch a Bostonian doing these things. If the weather here were human, it would be that person ahead of you in line at the sub shop who sounds like this: "I want a steak bomb, no wait, make that a chicken parm. Hang on, maybe a salad would be better. Eh, bad idea. I’ll take the roast beef." We have to dress for all possibilities.
Speeding, forgetting the blinkah exists, driving diagonally to make an exit... these are all part of the charm of Boston driving. In fairness, it’s tough to navigate a city where roads evolved, rather than follow anything resembling a plan.

There are always some people who wind up in a city based purely on career or family needs, but most of us truly love living here.
