That’s where the Cabot Candy Factory got its start. The flagship factory store is still there, creating the hand-pulled saltwater taffy that’s been enchanting kids and kids at heart since the company first launched in 1927.
Thankfully, you don’t have to hop on the fast ferry to get your candy fix. Instead head over to Harvard Square, where you’ll find Cabot Candy’s second location at 1300 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge.
The molasses peanut butter, orange pineapple, and ginger varieties are fun, but you'll also find all the usual flavors. This treat is handmade using Cape Cod sea salt.
