The Breakfast Club, located in Allston, has all the retro style you expect of a diner from 1962.
However, that's where the trip to the 1960s comes to a screeching halt. The owner of this diner hit pause in the 1980s instead. As the name implies, The Breakfast Club pays homage to the 1985 cult movie of the same name.
Upon entering this restaurant, you're greeted with classic 80s music.
Movie posters from the decade's most iconic films decorate the space. You'll find 80s-era lunch boxes (ah, Ghostbusters) along with Atari and Knight Rider memorabilia incorporated into the décor.

Settle into a booth and spend some time soaking in the theme or take a seat at the counter to watch TV or get the best view of the chefs prepping food.
A Basket Case has never been as hard to resist than this breakfast combo. Plough your way through a feast of eggs, toast, home fries, with sausage, bacon, or ham, capped off with either pancakes or French toast (go for the French toast).
Looking for something a little healthier? Then you'll be wanting The Jock - a vegetable-laden egg white omelet.
The Breakfast Club has all the hallmarks of classic diner fare, but its omelet selection is broader than most. The hashlette tucks corned beef hash and cheddar into an omelet with satisfying results.
Try the smoked salmon version or go bold with the Fire Bomb, which features shaved sirloin paired with a spicy hollandaise sauce.
