Flour’s sticky buns became famous after pastry chef and Flour Bakery owner Joanne Chang beat Bobby Flay in a sticky bun throwdown. Since then, Flay has dubbed these sweet treats "the perfect sticky bun." You can’t argue with perfection!
7. Mike’s City Diner (South End)
A cash-only joint with a loyal following, this staple of the South End dishes up a mean hash. The eggs Benedict is another menu highlight and, if you’re ready for a food challenge, order the "intensive care," which consists of a 10 oz sirloin, three eggs, toast, and home fries or grits. Wow! Mike’s is located at 1714 Washington Street in Boston and breakfast is served from 6:00 a.m. onwards.
