The Charlton Blueberry Festival is a celebration of all things blue and juicy! This awesome local event brings together music, activities, and the best blueberries in the state for a day of indulgence and fun.
This year’s festival will be hosted at the Charlton Arts & Activities Center on July 29, 2019. The day will be packed with blueberry-themed activities like an amateur cooks blueberry bake-off and a blueberry pie eating contest with the Charlton firefighters. There will be plenty of locally grown blueberries for sale and all the blueberry muffins, jams, tarts, spreads, and sauces that you can eat.
In addition to the amazing blueberry treats on offer, the festival will include live music, clowns, raffles, pony rides, and a live animal show. You’ll also be able to watch Irish step dance performances and shop with over 60 amazing local crafters and artisans selling everything from clothing to body products and gift items.
Visiting with kids? Take them straight to the bouncy house and follow up with faceprinting, glitter tattoos, balloons, and a seat at the magic show. Admission is free and there’s plenty of free parking (including shuttle service), so bring the whole family!
