We here in Massachusetts are fortunate to be rich in coastal resources. Everyone has their favorite angling spot, but we’ve gathered together a few places that are beautiful, accessible and a good bet for fisherpeople of all ability levels and interests.
Pleasure Bay is the prime fishing spot on this island. There are two islets that guide fish into the bay from the harbor.
Wachusett Reservoir is only ten minutes from Worcester, but it feels a world away from the daily grind. This fishing spot is eight miles long and full of a variety of fish. May and June is prime largemouth and smallmouth bass time.

This is a great spot to bring the whole family for a day of seaside fun. While the anglers are out on the jetty catching bluefish, the others can stroll along the sand or play in the surf.

The Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game stocks this river with trout every year, so your chances of catching one are pretty high.
This kettle pond is stocked twice a year with trout. It is also home to Scargo Tower, a great lookout point and scenic place to catch the sunset after a long day's fishing.
