This New Massachusetts Beer Is So Strong It's Illegal In 12 States

A Massachusetts brewery is about to release a beer that will be banned in 12 states due to its high alcohol content.
Samual Adams is set to unleash the “extremely sought-after” brew this month. It will be called Utopias and feature a whopping 28 percent ABV.
Utopias has been barrel-aged for up to 24 years (!) and will be released in limited quantities across America. However, some states have elected to ban the sale of the beer due to its incredibly high alcohol content.
The brew will not be available for purchase in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont and Washington.

For the rest of the country (including Massachusetts, of course), the beer will carry a princely price tag of $199 per bottle. Samual Adams recommends the beer be enjoyed one ounce at a time, so one bottle will hopefully last you a while.
So how can you get your hands on on a bottle of Utopias? About 13,000 bottles will be distributed throughout the country during the month of November. Of course, it’s reasonable to assume that Sam Adams’ hometown of Boston will be among the first places see the rare beer appear.
