If you are headed for a day of fun and sun at Plum Island, or just find yourself in the Newburyport, Massachusetts area, there is a fantastic coffee and pastry shop that is worth a stop. Olive’s Coffee and Bakehouse serves up delicious pastries, donuts, bagels, and of course coffee. I can’t think of a better way to begin a day at the shore.

Olive's is relatively new to the Newburyport restaurant scene. The coffee shop opened in 2020 and has been a popular fixture in the area ever since.

I discovered Olive's on a recent trip to Newburyport. Once I tasted the chocolate donuts, I knew I would be returning soon.
Owner Debra Ball named the coffee shop after her beloved English bulldog. You can find Olive's portrait displayed at the front of the coffeehouse!

The inside of the bakehouse is upbeat and inviting. Fun decor can be found throughout the shop.
