I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Bowling has long been a fun sport that can bring friends and family together. And if you enjoy bowling, why not also enjoy a great meal, all in the same place? The Alley in Orleans just so happens to be both a BBQ restaurant and bowling alley in Massachusetts, and it’s one place you’ll want to bring your friends and family to.
The Alley Bowling + BBQ is located in Orleans, and because of its location in a beach community, it has a bit of an ocean theme.
It may seem a bit odd for a place to have both bowling and an excellent BBQ restaurant all under the same roof, but it certainly works. And it's an incredibly fun place to enjoy with a group.
If you get hungry, you can eat right at your bowling lane. With its very own smokehouse BBQ restaurant on site, The Alley offers some of the tastiest and most authentic BBQ on Cape Cod.
Meats, including ribs, brisket, chicken, and pork, are smoked for hours in a wood smoker. You can order a meat tray with your choice of meat and two sides.
The sides include collard greens, potatoes au gratin, Brussels sprouts, BBQ baked beans, coleslaw, and macaroni salad, among others.
If you don't want BBQ, no problem! There are numerous additional options including wings, chowder, chili, salads, burgers, and more. You're bound to find something tasty to satisfy your hunger.
