Warm weather is finally here and who doesn’t love celebrating with a bit of wine? With festival season in full swing, we’re listing 10 of the best wine festivals in Maryland to visit May through October. Leave the kids at home and treat yourself to a day full of local wine, food, and music.
1. Art & Wine Festival (Sykesville)
This annual festival is now in its 7th year and it's so much more than just wine. Local artisans also set up tables so you can peruse one-of-a-kind works of art. Cost is $25 per person for unlimited samples.

2. Baltimore Wine & Food Festival (Baltimore)
Baltimore's Inner Harbor area will host this delicious event. Besides wine, this festival will also have beer, spirits, and food. Tickets are $39 in advance and $45 onsite. Or go all out and treat yourself to VIP tickets.

3. Wine in the Woods (Columbia)
This two-day event is filled with dozens of local wineries. Sample them all and then buy a bottle of your favorite before relaxing with a nice picnic on the grounds at Merriweather. Costs for wine drinkers vary from $27 for preorder to $40 at the gate, depending on which date you attend.

4. Caribbean Wine, Music, & Art Festival (Mt. Airy)
Linganore Winecellars hosts a few musical events throughout the year but Caribbean Fest just may be the largest. The music is lively and the art is vibrant. Tickets are $25 and can only be purchased online since the event is known to sell out!

5. Annapolis Arts and Wine Festival (Annapolis)
Wine, live music and food makes for a perfect day at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Pair your grape-flavored adult beverages with some of the area's most delicious food trucks. Ticket prices range up to $45.

6. Frederick Wine Festival (Frederick)
The charming city of Frederick is the perfect spot to host a wine festival. Sip on Maryland wines followed by perusing the local boutiques and strolling along the canal. Tickets for wine drinkers start at $35.

7. Deep Creek Lake Art & Wine Festival (McHenry)

8. The Maryland Wine Festival (Westminster)
This wine festival also includes a cider and cheese pavilion so be sure to bring your appetite. Local businesses will also be onsite, selling unique and handmade items. General admission is $30.

Arts, crafts, but most of all, wine will be present at this Ocean City festival. Sample your local favorites while listening to the accompanied live music. General Admission is $37.

10. Autumn Wine Festival (Salisbury)
Bring a chair and blanket and plan to spend the day at this large wine festival in Salisbury. Since this festival is in Autumn, weather may be a bit chillier but a bottle of merlot is sure to warm you right up. Early bird tickets go on sale in August and start at $25.
