Have you seen all of Maryland’s hidden waterfalls? They’re pretty extraordinary in their own way. The following natural wonder is the second highest free-falling waterfall in the state, and the hike to reach it is rewarding as well. At only a little over one mile in length, the trek is worth the (easy) effort.
The park is open sunrise to sunset and it is advised that visitors looking to hike Falling Branch Trail to Kilgore Falls arrive early. Warm months can get crowded.
