Who doesn’t love alpacas? The following spot just may be the most beautiful alpaca farm in Maryland — seriously. Head here to visit with the animals, marvel at the stunning surroundings, and stock up on alpaca goods like cozy blankets, sweaters, and more. This is one place that’s even better in person. Check out the details below!
Villa de Alpacas Farm is the largest working alpaca farm in Southern Maryland. You'll find it off of Route 381 in Aquasco.
Not only is this farm home to over 90 alpacas and llamas...
...but it's also full of history. It's been in continuous operation since 1802, when it used to be a tobacco farm.
The onsite buildings are old and gorgeous. Here you'll find the last Victorian carriage house and stable in PG County, which has been beautifully restored. This is one spot you'll want to tour.
And speaking of touring, be sure to make an appointment to visit the showroom.
You can also visit during their holiday open house to stock up on warm and cozy gifts for friends and family.
Handmade blanket, anyone?
Of course, you can also come see the many alpacas. What would the farm be without them, after all?
