Maryland is home to many tiny towns that several people may not have heard of. Across several counties you can find these peaceful places. Here are the 10 tiniest towns in Maryland according to the 2010 census.
1) Port Tobacco, Charles County
The last census reported a population in this town of only 13 residents, making it the smallest incorporated town in the state.
2) Eldorado, Dorchester County
Eldorado has a sparse population of only 59 people.
3) Brookview, Dorchester County
This town is almost tied with Eldorado's population, with 60 residents.
4) Eagle Harbor, Prince Georges County
With a population of 63, this tiny towns boasts a rich history.
5) Luke, Allegany County
According to the 2010 census, the population of Luke is 65 people. Pictured here is the area Pulp and Paper Mill.
6) Highland Beach, Anne Arundel County
With a population of 96, this charming little town was founded by Charles Douglas (Frederick Douglas's son).
7) Barclay, Queen Anne's County
As of 2010, there were 120 residents living here. The total area of this town is only 0.16 square miles!
8) Church Creek, Dorchester County
Along a tributary of the Little Choptank River you can find this tiny town, with a population of 125 people.
9) Brookeville, Montgomery County
In the 2010 census the population of Brookeville was 134. However, it's been developing more as of late and soon may outgrow this tiny town list.
10) Templeville, Caroline County
This town is located near the Maryland/Delaware line and has a population of 138 people.
