Our summer bucket list keeps getting longer and longer, not that we’re complaining. Maryland has a handful of lavender farms throughout the state and the following one is oh-so charming. Head to this spot for a beautiful (and great smelling) day trip this summer.
Purple Rain Lavender Farm is located in Maryland's northeastern region -- Churchville to be exact.
This 16-acre lavender farm may be smaller than others in the state, but it's no less impressive. In fact, many prefer the cozier and intimate atmosphere.
Once the lavender is in bloom for the season, there will be several days where you can visit in person. Take in the beauty and breathe in the relaxing smell that surrounds you.
...or if you don't get the opportunity to visit the farm in person, be on the lookout for their stand at local farmers markets. All sorts of lavender products await!
