Calling all Potterheads! Did you know that in just a few weeks, there will be a Harry Potter convention in Maryland? If you’re free the weekend of August 17th-19th, then you’re in for a magical treat. Read on to learn more about PotterVerse, which will include fun workshops, plenty of Harry Potter inspired artwork and goods, and even celebrities. Grab your portkey and we’ll see you there!

This year's PotterVerse convention will be held at Bethesda North Marriott, located in Rockville, Maryland.

The facility has a whopping 48,000 square feet of event space, so there's plenty of room for all of the wizarding activities to unfold.
Whether you attend for a day or the entire weekend, feel free to dress up.

In fact, those in costume can participate in the cosplay parade. Go ahead and show off on the catwalk.
Need to brush up on those wizarding skills? Then take a dueling class, try your hand at wand making, and discover your patronus.
