Taylors Island is nestled next to the bay, and also has several splendid creeks. Those include Davis Creek, St John Creek, Slaughter Creek, and more.
With so many bodies of water here, this is the perfect spot for fishing, kayaking, or canoeing.
And with a mere population of 173 residents recorded during the 2010 census, you won't have to worry about crowds. If you prefer being alone, this is the place to go.
If you love seeking out wildlife, this is a superb spot for bird watching. Osprey and eagles flourish here.
Nature lovers will appreciate Taylors Island Wildlife Management Area. The sights are out of this world.
Quaint and cozy churches sprinkle the area, with several of them listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
History buffs (and architecture fiends) will enjoy scoping out all of the historic structures.
