Love a good overlook? The following overlook in Maryland is one of the best, with an incredible view, AND it’s reminiscent of Pride Rock from The Lion King! Read on to learn more, and plan a trip here sometime — you’ll be glad you did!
Today's adventure takes us to Rocks State Park in Harford County.
The overlook is known as the King and Queen Seat. It sits 190 above Deer Creek, making for an impressive view. Some also call this spot Maryland's very own Pride Rock, though we don't recommend holding baby lions over the edge.
The hike to the overlook can be reached by the Red, White, or even the Purple trail. Most choose the 3.2-mile loop, which takes about 1.5 hours to complete.
