Autumn will be here before you know it! If you only have time to visit one festive spot, then make it the following town in Maryland. This place has some of the best fall foliage in the state and it also offers an annual event that’s worth the drive.
Oakland, Maryland is located in the the state's western region, offering stunning views during autumn.
The scenery alone is worth the trip, including nearby areas like Deep Creek Lake and Swallow Falls State Park.
But what most don't know is that this small town becomes an autumn-themed paradise in October.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Autumn Glory Festival. Locals and travelers love this event, and for good reason.
From October 11th to 15th, several events will take place, including a harvest-themed parade...
