Seeking an outdoorsy day trip with the family? Robinson Nature Center is a Maryland attraction that all ages can enjoy. This indoor / outdoor nature center has fascinating indoor exhibits and outdoor trails that are short, sweet, and oh-so scenic. Young or old, there’s a little something here for everyone. Read on for the details, and see you there!
Robinson Nature Center is located in Howard County. Daily admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children (3-17 years), and children under three are free.
Begin your journey inside, where all sorts of fascinating and educational nature exhibits await.
There's even a touch tank, for some one on one time with unique animals...
...and an impressive planetarium!
Then make your way outside, where children will love the outdoor play area...
...and all ages will enjoy the walking trails.
Each trail takes only 20 to 30 minutes to complete. That gives you plenty of time to explore them all! Some paths are paved...
...and others are a bit more rustic and secluded.
You can visit year-round, but we personally think this is a great adventure to kick off spring.
With its picture perfect location, indoor and outdoor activities, and educational opportunities, Robinson Nature Center is a perfectly well-rounded and fun way to explore. If you haven't been, you're in for a pleasant surprise.
