Maryland is often referred to as America in miniature and for good reason. We have the mountains in the west, beaches in the east, a glorious bay, cities, farms, tiny towns, and more. These 15 Maryland sceneries define our state and are proof that we truly have it all.
1) The rolling mountains of western Maryland.
2) A sunset over the Chesapeake Bay.
3) Cascade Falls. One of our state's several waterfalls.
4) A serene setting of boats at our state capital, Annapolis.
5) The Baltimore Inner Harbor from a unique perspective.
6) Flying kites at Ocean City.
7) A magical pier at Solomon's Island in Southern Maryland.
8) The Gilpin's Falls Covered Bridge is one of eight covered bridges left in Maryland.
9) Just one example of a beautiful overlook in Maryland. This is "Lover's Leap" located in Cumberland.
10) The Chesapeake Bay Bridge - Maryland's most famous and terrifying bridge.
