Previously, we created this list of crazy Maryland laws. We’ve found a few more at DumbLaws.com worth mentioning that will leave you with questions. Check out these bizarre things that are actually illegal in the Old Line State. Most likely, you’ve broken a few of them yourself.
1. In Cumberland, it is illegal to use profanity at or near a playground.
If only this was put in effect throughout the rest of the state.
2. If you're in Baltimore, don't even think about throwing a bale of hay from a second-story window.
What about a third-story window though?
3. And especially don't take a lion to the movies.
You know this had to have happened to be a law...
4. Throwing stones in a public park is prohibited.
(Okay, that's actually a good one)
5. In Rockville, it's illegal to curse while on the highway.
Consider me guilty.
6. And while you're in Rockville, don't play or swim in the fountains.
Although this looks extremely refreshing.
7. You're allowed to spit on the road, but keep that saliva away from city sidewalks.
Thank goodness.
8. No "tramp" or "vagrant" shall loiter in the park.
This one is ridiculously and rudely specific.
9. Do not sell chicks to a minor within a week of Easter.
So, adults are okay?
Are you guilty of any of these? Remember, you can check out part one here !
