Today we’re featuring an underrated state park that’s full of history, beauty, and is insanely unique when compared to the rest. Fort Frederick has a vast history in Maryland. It served as a defense spot during the French and Indian War, a prison camp during the American Revolution, and was even used briefly during the Civil War.
It was named a national historic landmark in 1974, and you can expect to learn a lot during your visit.
Explore the 585 acre park, featuring educational exhibits, reenactments, and more.
Step into the fort where you can get a glimpse of the past, including living quarters...
