Are you a fan of bed & breakfasts? It’s hard not to be, with their personal touches and cozy accommodations. The following one in Maryland is full of charm and history. Next time you’re in need of a little getaway, you just may want to consider this local gem.
Laurel Manor House Bed and Breakfast is located in Laurel, Maryland.
The bed and breakfast is housed in an old home, dating all the way back to 1888. The original owner, Edward Phelps, was elected the mayor of Laurel in 1897, and was then reelected for six more terms.
Edward and his wife lived here several years after, raising nine children within the walls. Throughout the decades, it's been a private home for others, and was at one time purchased by Laurel Assembly of God.
