Wisp Resort is also home to the Mountain Coaster, which whips and zooms among the mountain. This is a great activity any time of year, that most ages can enjoy.
One of the most magnificent attractions in Garrett County is Deep Creek Lake. This is Maryland's largest lake and it's great for boating, fishing, and swimming.

After resting, awake and explore the area parks and hiking spots. Swallow Falls State Park is known for the beautiful Muddy Creek Falls, pictured below.
The park features other waterfalls and rapids throughout the area. This place is a must-see!
Although Swallow Falls State Park tends to get all of the glory, don't miss out on the other area parks as well. New Germany State Park is a good one, and the water views here are stunning.
