Flat Iron Farm In Maryland Is The Best Christmas Farm Around

Nearly everyone has a favorite place to go for Christmas lights each year. For southern Marylanders, it’s Flat Iron Farm. This spot has been a decades-long tradition for area families, thanks to owner Joseph “Bubby” Knott. Today we’re sharing what makes this place so magical.

Head south to find Flat Iron Farm, which is located in Great Mills, Maryland.

This farm complex is quite sizable, with several barns and buildings on site.

During Christmastime, those barns and buildings are transformed into one giant winter wonderland.

Step inside, where you'll find Christmas decor galore. Need ornaments or gifts? This place has got you covered.

And if you enjoy local goods, they've got a great selection of jams, honey, and handmade crafts.

Gaze at the annual truck and train display, that's sure to fill any child (or adult) with awe.

Wander around to the rest of the complex and experience some hands-on fun. If you love animals, the petting zoo and pony rides are a must.

Don't miss meeting the big guy! Santa often makes appearances at Flat Iron Farm so be sure to bring a Christmas wishlist.

Last but most certainly not least is the annual drive-through light display. Turn up the Christmas tunes and enjoy a leisurely drive through this enchanting route.

Drive through illuminated barns, witness twinkling trees, and marvel at the spots that are synchronized to music.
