Scenic places aren’t hard to come by in Maryland, but this one is downright dreamy! Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is full of wildlife, including rare migratory birds. To visit this magical place is to be surrounded by the most glorious sunrises, sunsets, and serene nature scenes in the Old Line State. Here’s why it’s by far, the most dreamy place in Maryland.
Visitors are welcome to come view the majestic scenery of the refuge.
Make sure to bring binoculars and a camera because you're going to need it to witness all of the spectacular wildlife.
Because you wouldn't want to miss the several species of birds who either reside, or pass through this picturesque place.
There are literally hundreds of birds.
Haha, just kidding. I meant THOUSANDS.
And did I mention that Blackwater has the greatest density of breeding bald eagles on the east coast, north of Florida?
Visit during winter for an other-worldly experience.
The sunsets here are beyond compare.
There is NO WAY these sunsets can be real.
But they absolutely are real, and will make you feel perfectly at peace.
Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is an enchanting place full of dreams... and birds.
