Cedar Hill Cemetery is located in Suitland, Maryland.
This historic spot dates all the way back to the late 1800s. Today it covers over 150 acres.
So what makes this particular cemetery unique? Well, from 1936 to 1938, Mexican artist Dionicio Rodriguez built several whimsical structures here that are one-of-a-kind.
The pieces were built from concrete and were molded to resemble wood. You'll find a variety of sculptures, from enchanting footbridges...
...to a hollowed out tree hideaway.
You can even enter the hollowed out tree, have a seat, and stay a while.
